Bad Bunny at the Super Bowl: The NFL’s Woke Agenda Over America First
The NFL had a choice. In a year when America is experiencing the biggest Christian revival in modern history, Roger Goodell and his cronies decided the halftime show of the United States Super Bowl would be headlined by Bad Bunny, an artist who once vowed he wouldn’t perform in this country after ICE deported illegal immigrants.
This wasn’t an accident. The NFL knew exactly what they were doing. They picked an artist who mocks Trump’s immigration policies, whose music often doesn’t even cater to American audiences, and whose halftime set is destined to look more like an anti-ICE rally than a celebration of American football. Meanwhile, artists like Alex Warren who are topping the Billboard charts with worship-style pop music and resonating with millions of Americans, were ignored. At the very moment the country is rediscovering faith and hope, the NFL doubled down on division.
And this isn’t the first time. The woke propaganda machine known as the NFL has been building for years. First, it bent the knee to BLM. Then it pushed male cheerleaders onto the sidelines, taking spots from women. Then it celebrated a transgender cheerleader as if the target audience of the most masculine sport would be interested in that. And of course, it’s been one politically charged halftime show after another, each one more disconnected from the values of everyday Americans.
Have we not learned from the corporate train wrecks of Bud Light, Cracker Barrel, American Eagle, and others? Every time, elites think pushing the far-left agenda will make them “relevant,” and every time, real Americans push back, harder.
The NFL is trying to lose its audience on purpose. They know President Trump won the popular vote and took back the swing states. They know where the people are. Yet instead of reading the room, they choose to spit in the face of the very fans who built their empire.
And let’s not forget ICE agents are under constant threats. All this after we just had the Dallas ICE facility attacked. To hand the most visible cultural stage in America to an artist who has demonized them is reckless, divisive, and complicit in the violence that threatens this country.
At some point, this self-destruction will catch up with them. Because the NFL stopped being about football a long time ago. Now, it’s just another entertainment institution pushing propaganda at the expense of the American people. The NFL doesn’t even pretend to put America first anymore. By choosing Bad Bunny, they’re signaling loud and clear that catering to a global audience matters more than honoring the country that built the game. This isn’t about football, it’s about showing us where their loyalty really lies, and it’s not with the American people and it’s certainly not with America First values.
